1. The TechPacker
His newest publication, launched in October 2023, is âwhere you find all the behind-the-scenes audio, video, photos, thoughts, gadgets, gear and experiences in my intermittent nomad life.â (source)
In announcing this new publication, Sarb Johal explains:
Itâs essentially an extension to my YouTube channel, The TechPacker, where I make videos about travel tech and gear. Besides curating travel gadgets and gear, I'll also help you with choosing and using tech like cameras, apps, and navigating with your devices while traveling.
I'll cover paying for stuff in tricky places like China and working remotely without compromising your online safety. I'll also share tips on navigating airports, using land transport when we can, public transport options and stories, plus behind-the-scenes photos, videos, and blogs - it's a lot of stuff.
In the most recent post, he shares his first impressions of the Insta360, a new action/vlogging camera.
He explains more about his intermittent nomadism in this post.
